Key Terms from the muscular-system chapters of OpenStax Anatomy and Physiology: the structure and physiology of muscle tissue — fibres, fascicles, connective sheaths, contraction, energy metabolism, smooth and cardiac muscle — together with named skeletal muscles, the movement many of them produce, and the anatomical compartments they belong to. The source glossary is alphabetical and this deck carries the part of it that fitted the catalogue's per-deck cap: most entries fall between « abductor » and « flexor », the rest are scattered further down the alphabet. It is a slice of the chapter vocabulary, not a complete survey of the muscular system.
